The Folly Photo Gallery contains photos of the beautiful interior
and exterior spaces of Kansas City's oldest theater. It also
contains photos of some of the operational spaces that the public
never sees. Take a glance through history: the original proscenium
arch, the fly spaces designed by Louis Curtiss, the 1981 renovation,
and our public spaces.

The Shubert family redesigned the interior in 1923 to what
the public sees today. The ornate plasterwork was highlighted
by the Evergreene Studios as part of our Centennial renovation
in the summer of 2000.
The Folly offers beautiful public spaces to accent the granduer
of the auditorium: the State Street Gallery featuring the Folly's
historic photo collection and the Shareholders Room, perfect
for receptions and business meetings.
Take a look at the places the public never gets to see, from
the fly rails to the attic.
